Red bear is an 8-9 year old female Neopolitan Mastiff/Neo cross. Currently in the care of Battersea London whilst she recovers from kennel cough, after which she will be coming to foster care.

Red Bear is a lovely, arthritic, calm, short sighted old lady who needs nothing more than a caring retirement home where she can spend her days in warmth and peace. She likes to go out and do her business, possibly walk to the shop, and that’s it!

That said she is affectionate, gentle and docile. She’s not cat tested and I think very young children would be a bit much for her, but she is currently walking happily past other dogs (for short walks) and is very loving when she stays still (which is most of the time!). She needs to be an only dog, or homed with a dog of similar size/age.

Red Bear needs a retirement home where she can rest in a warm place, and possibly go for a walk to the shops every now and then. If you can offer Red Bear a fireside home, please get in touch.

This is the very handsome and wonderful Turkish, he is an extremely large Cane Corso cross Neapolitan Mastiff of 20 months of age, this boy is still very much like a puppy in his nature and up to mischief at every opportunity. He is fully house trained and responding very well to training.

Turkish is looking for a home with giant or large breed experience with no children, he has not lived with children in the past and because of his clumsy nature could knock a child over, come to that he could knock an adult over as well , you would have to be prepared to continue his training and socialisation. Turkish does like other dogs but will only be placed with a large female and the applicant must be prepared for a number of visits with the other dog before he could go home with them, he would also be happy being an only dog.

Turkish is learning to walk well on a lead it is only when he is first going out that he will pull with excitement but this is being worked on, you will need to be a firm but fair handler to get the best from him. Turkish is castrated; micro chipped and will be up to date on his vaccinations before leaving for his new home.

Turkish is in the Kent area. If you would like to know more about Turkish then please get in touch with the South-East co-ordinator.

This is King Solomon, he is a 2-3 year old Dogue de Bordeaux cross Neopolitan Mastiff. Solly as he is generally called at the centre, came to us through no fault of his own. He will need to go to regular training classes to continue the work he has started here. He may be good to live with a confident cat we will need to do further assessment on that if necessary. Solly would prefer to be the only dog in the household.

Due to his size Solly would be ok to live with children aged 16+ who are confident and used to larger dogs, as he does jump up but is having training to correct this. With time, training and patience Solly will be an excellent dog. It would be preferable for him to have experienced owners, particularly with larger breed dogs. King Solomon is a brilliant and very affectionate dog that just wants another chance.
