Parsons Russell Terrier Cross
Jaspa - 20 month old male Lakeland Terrier cross Parson Russell Terrier
Jaspa is a stunning 20 month old Lakeland Terrier cross Parson Russell Terrier who is fully vaccinated, deflead, wormed and micro-chipped and neutered. He is solid red in colour and very handsome. Jaspa is 14 inches to the shoulder and would make a great agility dog when older.

He is house-trained and will happily use a dog door/cat flap, he will also settle happily in a crate for up to 4 hours with plenty of chews to keep him busy. He sleeps in a crate at night.
Jaspa is very friendly and loves to cuddle up on your lap. He can live with another dog who would need to be submissive as Jaspa is quite dominant. Jaspa needs a home with experience of Terriers and without a cat or children.

Please meet Molly who is a 2 1/2 year old Parson Jack Russell cross who has come to us because she hates cats and has tried to attack them in the garden. She is very affectionate and has lived with another dog. She can be left for 3-4 hrs at a time but will need to be exercised first and be left with plenty of activity toys.

She will need a secure garden and where new owners will not be out at work all day. Would suit an active family who has a dog already who wants a playmate. But definitely cannot go with cats. She’s being fostered in Ashford, Kent. She’s vaccinated, deflead, wormed, micro-chipped and insured.

Meet Royston, he is a 5 year old castrated male Parson Jack Russell Terrier cross that has been with us since November 2006, as he didn’t get on with the other dog in the house. Royston can be an affectionate dog and will always give a big welcome to people he knows well.
He is an independent dog who likes to do his own thing a lot of the time -a typical Terrier into anything and everything. He particularly loves his walks and walks perfectly on a harness, but will pull you in the direction of any canine he spots on the horizon. He has shown signs of protectiveness in the past so care must be taken when out in public and with visitors in the home.
An experienced owner who is familiar with the Terrier breed would suit Royston down to the ground as he is a confident dog once he knows you but can be on the stubborn side so will need a firm hand. Royston is a cuddly dog once he knows you jumping up for a kisses and a hug but will snap if pushed and can show his nervous side cowering at sudden movements or fireworks.
Due to his protectiveness a bond must be created and any potential owner must be willing to come up and get to know him well before adopting. Royston doesn’t appear to know any basic commands and can be stubborn only performing these when it suits him so he would benefit from further training. He is seeking a new home without other dogs as he is dog aggressive although he is good with cats and would be fine where any children are aged 16+.
Are you an experienced owner that can offer our typical Terrier a new loving home?
