Ruby - female Bull Terrier cross Collie cross Greyhound
Ruby is a 3 year old Bull Terrier cross Collie cross Greyhound we think. She is a really lovely natured girl and whoever takes her on will be getting a real gem of a dog. She’s not very tall - around 24 ins, but is stockily built. She’s very gentle and has good manners - will sit on command etc.
She loves her cuddles and is good with other dogs. Probably NOT cat friendly though. Ruby will be spayed and vaccinated as soon as is possible.

Winnie - 5 year old female Greyhound
Winnie is a small, pretty black Greyhound female aged 5 years old. Winnie can be timid at first, but affectionate when she gets to know you.
She gets on fine with the other dogs in her foster home, and loves charging round the garden with them. Winnie has been waiting for her forever home for quite a while now. Could she be your best friend?

Blondie is a timid 3 year old female fawn Greyhound. Blondie is one of our long stay hounds. She came into rescue with her sister, and both girls were very scared and traumatised. Blondie’s sister has recently found her forever home. After months of rehabilitation in her foster home, Blondie is now also available for adoption.
She will need to go to a home with another dog who will help to build her confidence. Blondie is pictured here on the left with one of her new friends.

Twinkle is is a female Lurcher cross Staffordshire Bull Terrier aged approximately 1 year old. She is a bit nervous to start with but fine when she gets to know you. She was found running loose with a harness and lead attached but nobody has ever came forward to claim her.
She is now fully socialised with other dogs of all sizes. She is now very sociable and a very sweet natured and loving girl. She would be fine to live with older children as she has a nervous streak.

She needs an experienced owner who will be able to deal with her anxiousness when out on walks. She’s also good with other dogs and people but not cat friendly. Rosie is fine with children and is house-trained and okay to be left for short periods.
Molly - 4 year old female Greyhound
Molly is a 4 year old white Greyhound female (Pedigree name ‘Bimbo’s Bandit’) who has never raced. She has come to us because their owner is no longer able to give her the attention she needs, she was devastated to give her up but realised it was best for them to find a new home.
She’s quite confident and outgoing, very friendly to people and other dogs but NOT cat friendly! She’s white with black patches and is very pretty. She’s also suffering with ‘Happy Tail’ at the moment.

Molly is a gorgeous 2 1/2 year old medium-sized Irish-bred black Greyhound female who has been raced (in Eire then on UK flapping tracks) and was retired due to a wrist strain. This injury will not be a problem in a pet home and she is fine now. She’s very affectionate and loves people and being around them, and doesn’t like being left alone so would be best in a home with canine company.
She has only been in a house for a few weeks so its all a bit new for her and she needs to learn a few house rules - she’s a keen counter surfer! Molly is not cat friendly. She is shy with new people but soon comes round, and seems like she’s suffered some rough handling as she’s wary of leads, sticks, narrow passageways and direct approaches. But with calm handling she soon settles down and relaxes.
A home with small or noisy kids would probably not be suitable for her, but older, sensible dog-savvy children might be okay.

Cas is a 10 year old smooth coated white and black Lurcher female who is around 26 inches tall, her owner says she is a Deerhound cross Collie cross Bull Terrier cross Greyhound. She who has come to Lurcher Link because her owner’s terminally ill and can no longer care for her.
She is clean and quiet in the house, gets on okay with most of the other dogs, walks well on the lead, loves kids, but is NOT cat friendly!
