Herbie - 7 month old male Greyhound

Herbie is a 7 month old large male Greyhound. He is a friendly and lively, Greyhound pup! Herbie is looking so much better since his bath to remove the cow dung he had been living in!

When he first arrived he did have a few minor wounds, but these healed quickly. The resident fleas have been treated and Herbie is ready for his new home. On a positive note - Herbie is very cat friendly!

Larry - 4 year old male Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross Greyhound

Larry is a Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross Greyhound male aged approximately 4 years old who has come to us via a dog warden, with a history of being a hard working dog, so I’d guess not cat friendly. He’s such a happy little soul, his tail’s always wagging. He is prematurely greying around his muzzle, the rest of his body shows how fit he is.

Larry has been vaccinated, micro-chipped and neutered. He’s clean and quiet in his kennel , gets on well with other dogs but does pull on the lead, so I now walk him with a headcollar as he may only be little (about 22ins) but he’s really strong! He’s a really lovely little dog and would make a great family pet as he adores people and children. He deserves a loving home to retire to after his working days and to have a comfy sofa of his own.

Rolo - 1 year old male German Shepherd Dog

Rolo is a very handsome approximately 1 years old German Shepherd who desperately needs to find a new home. Rolo was picked up as a stray and never claimed. He has been trialled to work for the council but failed on his recall and because he was scared of chains and keys rattling. He is a lovely natured dog and very affectionate and will make a lovely addition to the family.

Unfortunately he is very dominant with other dogs and I would not trust him with cats so he must be homed as an only pet. He happily makes up for this by being fantastic with people. Rolo could live with older children.

Peanut - 1 year old male Staffordshire Bull Terrier

This boy is what I refer to as a ‘proper’ old fashioned Staffordshire Bull Terrier aged approximately 1 years old who desperately needs to find a new home. He is was picked up as a stray and never claimed. Peanut is fantastic with people and could live with children but is still quite excitable so care should be taken that he doesn’t knock them over.

Sadly Peanut is not too great with other dogs so will need to be exercised on-lead for the foreseeable future although castration should help with his dominance issues.

He is a friendly boy and very loving. He was picked up as a stray and never claimed. He is good with female dogs, although a tad dominant with other male dogs, this should improve after castration. Marmite could live with children.
