Spitz Cross

Seamus – 2-3 year old male Pomeranian cross Spitz

Sweet Seamus has only been with us for a short time but has already won the hearts of all those who meet and exercise him. Seamus is so grateful for being taken for a walk that he constantly looks up as if to say “thank you” as he trots along so thrilled to be out and about. Seamus is fully vaccinated.

Seamus is just a bundle of fun yet can be very excitable yet is good with other dogs and mixes well with humans and canine alike at the shelter. He is easy to walk and sometime you have to check that he is still on the end of the lead as he is light as a feather. Seamus is alert and responsive determined not to miss out on anything interesting to sniff, friendly and welcoming to any new dog that comes his way and always up for a proper fuss and pet.

Seamus is eager to find a home despite getting accustomed to his fellow canine guests and regular walkers. It hasn’t taken him long to recognise familiar faces and he always displays a friendly greeting, as if to say “Please choose me”! He has been exercised by families with small to medium sized children and he appears to be good with them and displays excellent manners.

Seamus is very affectionate liking nothing more than a tummy rub and lots of hugs along the way and despite being initially a bit unsure of himself, has shown no behavioural issues, proving to be an alert and faithful walking companion without anything seeming to bother him. All he needs is a loving home where he can become the constant and loyal friend he is so longing to be; situated South East England, Herts

Kiki – 6 year old female Spitz

Kiki is a spitz girl she is an older girl we can only guess at her age. Kiki came in with Elton another spitz who sadly we lost to old age. Kiki we have been told has never lived in a home she has lived all her life so far in a kennel. We think now Kiki is ready to find her forever home where she will be loved and well cared for. Kiki when stressed will circle but this is getting less and less. At the moment she is living in a foster home with various dogs of different sizes. She even shares the home with a puppy that thinks Kiki is the best thing since sliced bread. Kiki loves to play with the pup but soon tells the puppy when play time is over. She loves to be brushed and will allow you to do this all day if she could.

Kiki does have accidents in the home so will need an understanding home that will show her where to toilet as sometimes she does forget. She is a very loving girl and will keep you amused. Kiki is also in a foster home with 2 very young children that she doesnt mind at all but we would like a home with no young children she could live with teenager children. Her ideal home would be with a retired person/s and a quieter home where she can gain some trust and have fun for the remaining years. Kiki walks well on her lead but if you stop she will start this spinning again. At the moment Kiki is in foster in Cambridge. Kiki is a small girl. Kiki would need a home where someone is around the lot of the time as she really loves her humans. if left she ill spin and cry.
