Advert: Kailey is a energetic young dog who seems to have a touch of sight hound e.g. whippet in her makeup: Recall may not therefore be her strength. Kailey is well mannered on her lead and is happy to walk with other dogs. She wants to play and can be vocal. She understands basic commands, will ‘sit’, ‘down’ and paw … ‘which one?!’ Kailey could be a first time dog owner’s delight providing they understand her breed mix. She may need intense training to achieve off lead recall.

Video: Kailey enjoying her walk 2:
Slender, graceful and so attentive to treat and praise. ‘Lithe’ is the word. Kailey has a special feel which sells her to admiring companions. She seems to chuckle and her charisma is engaging. She may go in with another dog providing they can teach her how to play nicely and link her in with her owners. She could just as well succeed with certainty as an only ‘much loved’ dog!
“Please note this dog is currently in boarding kennels and is also available for foster until a ‘forever’ home is found”.

He is in Good condition and friendly. He looks like miniature Rottweiler to avoid confusion regarding size he is much smaller than a Rottweiler, probably a little lower than a Springer Spaniel. At first he just wanted to look at and smell everything. After about an hour of looking round he was introduced to other dogs. I am taking the process slowly but so far they like him and he likes them. Winston will be going to the vet this afternoon so hopefully it will be confirmed he is in good health and his age may be determined.

On thing which seems very sad is he has a container on his collar which usually contains an address this is empty so someone must have removed his address and intentionally lost him. Winston got on well at the vets and was assessed as seriously cute. He weighs 19.2 kg, he is fully grown but less than 18 months old.
He has been neutered. No health problems were found but he could gain a little weight.

He is such a lovely dog, he has met my children and was an absolute gent. We also had lots of visitors this afternoon and he met everyone wagging his tail and very laid back. He gets on well with my two dogs and also the others we met on a walk. After a very busy day he is now asleep on the floor looking very chilled out and relaxed. He would definitely make someone a lovely pet and a welcome member to any family.

Hope – 10 week old female Cross-Breed
Hope is a 10 week old cross-breed puppy. She has a great nature and is a typical inquisitive little girl. Hope is learning about house training with her foster carer. She is great with other dogs and young enough to learn about cats.

As Hope is a typical young pup children need to be over 5 years old as she does have puppy teeth! Hope will need to be neutered as part of the adoption agreement and proof will be required. She has been vaccinated, microchipped and wormed.

Lovely Brick is a medium sized male crossbreed approximately 7 years old. Only blind in one eye, he was found with a horrific wound on his neck. He is now recovered but needs a home. He can see fine with the other eye so will have a very nomal life. He is not a big dog, perhaps 17kg. Brick will be travelling from Romania to Hillside Animal Sanctuary at the end of January. We believe he can live with other dogs who aren’t too boisterous, but he will be assessed fully when he arrives at Hillside. Brick has been neutered.

Dalma – 6 year old female Cross-Breed
Dalma is a female medium sized crossbreed who is approximately 6 years old. Dalma is a Romanian dog, who was blinded in one eye when she was fiercely attacked with a pitchfork. She has survived the extreme cold of winter and the fierce heat of summer, hiding in fear. She had many puppies which were her priority, always caring for them, forgetting herself. Dalma now needs… No ! Dalma now DESERVES a new home. Are you the one to show this girl that there really is good in the world?

Dalma will be travelling to the UK at the end of January, when she will be under the care of Hillside Animal Sanctuary. We think Dalma can be homed with other dogs – this would need to be confirmed when she is assessed by Hillside, and she would probably be better suited to a home with older children. She has been spayed.

Johnny is around 1-year old, a medium sized lovely boy. Johnny is clever with beautiful markings and a big smile! He comes across as a confident lad but is really quite shy. He enjoys tickles and is very people friendly. He also loves to play with other dogs and in his current foster ‘pack’ he is head boy!

Johnny is fine with cats we believe.
We are looking for an adult only home for Johnny or one where there are ideally no young children. Ideally a home where he would not be an only dog and he enjoys canine company.

Johnny is being fostered in the Chichester area, he has been fully vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. Please call Sorina on T: 0208 3610762 or sorinab@hotmail.com

Mary is a beautiful medium sized female, a truly lovely dog! Approx. 1-year old. Mary is still nervous but has grown in confidence whilst she’s been with her foster folks!! In the right environment she won’t take long to come out of her shell. She is loving and sweet and has the gentlest eyes. She plays really well with other dogs and is a good runner – especially around corners!

We’d ideally like Mary to go to a home where there is already a resident dog but this is not set in stone. She seems to be okay with cats.

An adult only home or one with grown up kids would suit Mary most. Mary is being fostered in the Chichester area, she has been fully vaccinated, microchipped and spayed. Please call Sorina on T: 0208 3610762 or sorinab@hotmail.com
