Mugley – 4 month old male Cross-Breed
Mugley is approximately 4 months old. He came to the rescue from the dog pound after he had been found dumped on the streets in December 2011. At first Mugley was very timid and shy as he has spent 7 days on his own in a kennel, which is no life for any dog, let alone a puppy of 3 1/2 months.
Mugley is a very loving little chap, he races accross the lounge to jump up on your knee for a cuddle now. He is learning how to lead walk in the house and recall. He is now fully house trained and sleeps in his crate with the door open at night time like a very good boy. He is very playful but can get a little carried away when playing with the other young male dogs in the house but he is still only a baby and learning. He loves the company of other dogs and I feel he would be great with a mum like figure dog as he adores my surrogate Boxer and is always snuggling up on her for cuddles. He needs to be with a calm yet playful dog so he has the companionship but so that the playing wouldn’t get too much as when he is with the 2 older dogs in the house he is playful yet relaxed and happy to play with his toys on his own. He has a very waggy tail and is always so pleased to meet you once he has got to know you. He will not be a big dog in size, probably the height of a small staffordshire bull terrier.
Mugley is currently at Impawtant Pups Puppy Rescue in Burton-on-Trent DE15 living with 6 other dogs. He would be great with children and he is small and quick to eager to learn with some yummy treats. If you would like to know more or apply for an application form email impawtantpups@gmail.com or phone 07926 249449
All new homes are fully home checked and all pups remain micro chipped to the rescue, full rescue back up is provided.

Meet Tech, a young male crossbreed of approximately 2 years. Tech has been in our care for a few months now but sadly is still waiting for his new home. He is an affectionate little fella with the softest muzzle ever, he is never far from your side and will sit nicely to accept some fuss or receive a treat.

Since being in our care, Tech has shown that he can be selective over his doggie friends so with this in mind he would be better suited to being the only dog in his household. He hasn’t been tested with cats but he is a gentle boy so we would consider placing him a home with older children.

Tech is fully vaccinated, has been neutered and is microchipped.
Can you make Techs dreams come true in 2012 and offer him the home that he really does deserve? If so please contact Lynda on 07878572343 or Julie on 07738638091 or email info@dunroamin-k9rescue.org.uk

Scamp – 6 year old male Cross-Breed
Meet a very special boy called Scamp,he is 6 year old Cross-Breed . He was found in Spain in a very bad way, blind in one eye, torn ears and very scared. He has spent the last few years in the shelter looking for his forever home. Scamp is such a gentle, loving and affectionate boy, he just melts your heart when you meet him! Scamp is around 6 years old and is a cross-breed.

Scamp is a lovely, cuddly, quiet boy who just loves affection and enjoys his home comforts. He really is so easy-going! He would love a quiet, loving home where he can flourish and get all the love, care and attention he deserves. He is clean in the house, and very laid back. He does love his walks too, but loves lazing about and being cuddled.

Scamp will be happy living with another female dog or as an only dog. He is not great with other male dogs, we think that perhaps his ear and eye injury was caused by another dog attacking him, but with time and socialisation we think this can be worked on.
Scamp has tested positive for leishmania and will need daily tablets, he also needs eye-drops daily.
Scamp is, neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.

Please do get in touch if you can offer this wonderful, very special boy his forever home or would like more information on him. He is fostered in Mid-Wales.

Chloe is a 2 year old cross-breed girl who was abandoned tied up in a children’s playing area with her who we believe is her litter sister. The dog warden recognised them as coming from a home close by where they were living outside, but it would have been difficult to prove. The kennel owners are beginning to work with them to build their confidence and skills and asked us to help Chloe find her home. We have spayed, chipped and vaccinated Chloe.

Chloe needs another dog to teach her how domestic life works and what living within a family is all about. Ex-kennel dogs soon pick up from resident dogs. Her family will need a lot of patience with her house-training and adjustment to acclimatisation to living within a home and training her to adjust to walks. She must have a secure garden and exit management i.e. no gates or front doors left open just in case she got out, it would be overwhelming for her.
Chloe is so frightened she has every thing to learn and needs her family NOW! She has had an impoverished background but there is not an ounce of spite in her, even when she is frightened and completely out of her depth. Her confidence is very low; her skill base is absent but she wants to trust and is open to be guided and innately trusting.

Chloe presents as a large white Labrador but with a touch of Bull breed which is probably American Bulldog. She is the size of a Labrador and is presenting as a loving Labrador. Chloe needs to join a family with another dog of any age. Chloe could live with a puppy or an old dog. She will learn from both and befriend both. She has so much to offer her family and she needs so much from her family.
Please note this dog is currently in boarding kennels and is also available for foster until a ‘forever’ home is found.

Casey is also a beautiful medium size long-haired female of approx. 11-mths. She is as affectionate as her sister Vicki, very playful and very people/dog friendly. Casey is in a foster home with cats and seems to tollerate them but has not been heavily cat tested as only been in the foster home a few days. She is also being fostered alongside her sister Vicki.

We are looking for a loving home for Vicki either on her own (….ideally to live with another resident dog) or with her sister Vicki. We’d ideally prefer a home where any children are 12+.

Casey is being fostered in the North London area, she has been fully vaccinated, microchipped and neutered.
