Champ – 2 year old male Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross

Champ is a Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross aged approximately 2 years old who originally came to us as his owner was pregnant and didn’t want him any more. Champ is a sweet, adorable and character. He loves nothing more than a big cuddle whilst gazing adorably at you. Champ can feel insecure when left alone. We think this is due to being brought to the rescue as a young dog; he is worried that he will be abandoned again. This can be easily overcome by a kind, patient owner who is willing to put time and effort into building him up slowly to be left alone.

Although Champ loves all the staff and dog walkers he is unhappy with kennel life. The noise of the other dogs upsets him quite a lot and has made him a little stressed and frustrated. Because of this he now isn’t very good with other dogs, although he was when he first came in to us. As he was originally good with other dogs we feel with the right socialisation training he may over come this. Champ is a real people dog; he loves the company, attention and has so much love to give. Please don’t over look him!

Champs requirements are an adult home or with older, calm teenagers. Champ needs someone who is home most of the day and who is willing to put the time into helping him that he must have to overcome his insecurity about being left alone. Champ will make a wonderful, loyal, loving companion!
