Charlie is a lively 4 year old small male Terrier cross. He came into our care as his owner wasn’t in good health and was finding it increasingly difficult to exercise him. He is currently in foster care. Charlie was quite grumpy when he first arrived with his foster mum and had a tendency to guard his toys and chews if you walked past. Although he can still be a little grumpy, he has settled in well and is a friendly happy little dog. He enjoys kisses and cuddles but only if he wants to partake and he will let you know if he doesn’t. He definitely has a mind of his own and likes his own space at times.
Charlie loves his walks but does pull and also plays well with toys and balls. He has met lots of different people, including children of all ages and greets everyone happily. He is a very loyal dog and a typical Terrier. He does cry when he is left but appears to settle fairly quickly.
Charlie is looking for a home where he will have company for the majority of time. He wasn’t left for long periods previously so is very much used to this. He could be rehomed with older children. He is fine with other dogs but has never lived with another. He is not to be rehomed with cats as he does like to chase them.
