Charlotte – 8-10 year old female Beagle

Charlotte Beagle is a pocketful of cuteness and no mistake! A truly gorgeous, dinky lady weighing just 9kgs. We estimate that she is between 8 and 10 years old but like most hounds Charlotte’s spritely behaviour and contagious positivity reflects the spirit of a much younger doggy! ? She is abundantly radiant and friendly and absolutely adores humans. Charlotte greets every dog politely and could live with or without a four legged friend. She is wonderful with children and has previously accepted cats. Little Charlotte has lived her whole life until rescue as a breeding girl, and very sadly, has also suffered with an untreated and painful cherry eye condition in both eyes. Since coming into rescue Charlotte has had surgery to both eyes, which has successfully corrected this condition but she will need to have twice daily inexpensive eye drops to prevent them becoming dry. A small price for Charlotte’s unwavering loyalty and devotion.

We are very hound savvy at Angel’s Kiss so we speak with experience when we say that ‘Charlotte the Brave’ is a truly awesome all round fantastic little beagle! She is a good eater but not possessive of food or toys, she is obedient (yes really!), she is fully house trained, she is not destructive and she can be left for a few hours at home. Charlotte walks well on the lead and she thrives on living life to the full, appreciating every second now that she is finally free. She enjoys her walks and play times and will need a secure garden and access to the outdoors.

We are looking for a very devoted home for this special girl who will have spent a very long time caged, in pain and most of it producing babies, although you would not know this now because she is remarkably unscathed. If you feel you could reciprocate the affection that Charlotte so openly provides and offer her the chance to finally enjoy her much deserved retirement please get in touch.

Charlotte is neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated, up to date with flea and worm treatments and has a full passport.

If you are interested in adopting Charlotte please get in touch with us through this website. The adoption fee is £150 and we always require a homecheck. This is done through a national network of rescue volunteers and usually does not take more than a few days to arrange.

Angel’s Kiss only uses kennels for immediate rescue and emergencies, all dogs advertised for adoption have been fostered, so they can be assessed and become familiar with the normal sights and sounds in a family and a household. Charlotte is in a very experienced foster home in Bristol where she has received her post operative rehabilitation. Angel’s Kiss homes dogs throughout the UK but potential adopters must be willing to travel to meet Charlotte at her current foster home.
