Chester – 6 year old male Japanese Akita

This is Chester, a lovely 6 year male Japanese Akita facing destruction on death row in West Yorkshire, now that his time in the pound is up and so urgently needs to find a new home or foster home. A happy, waggy boy, Chester enjoyed cuddles and strokes from our representatives, he sat for treats, showing a basic knowledge of commands.

Chester pulls on the lead, and may benefit from the use of a head collar, however he did not react to the other dogs around him. As a stray without history, Chester cannot be placed in a family with young children.

Chester needs a foster or forever home urgently, the FOA Trust (UK) cannot afford to kennel any more dogs at present. If you can help, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
