Chief is a 1 year old male Cross-Breed. Chief is a rescue from Cyprus who has flown to a foster home in Stockport to help him in his search for his forever family. Whilst we don’t know exactly what breeds may be in his mix, we can say he is cute and 100% adorable. Here is a little more about him. Chief is a loving dog who still has a playful puppy side to him. He loves nothing more than snuggling up next you, and giving you his love. He’s a very small 8kg but does look bigger on photos. Chief walks well on a lead and is great with other dogs that he meets. He eats well, loves his food and happily sits for treats.
Chief currently lives with two other dogs that he gets on well with. He loves playing and running around the garden with them. He also enjoys the company of people and cuddling up next to his human. He met an 8 year old child who visited his foster home and was fine with them. Chief has not met any small furry animals such as cats or rabbits since arriving in the UK. However he was cat tested when in Cyprus and seemed fine. It may be that with the right introductions he will be happy to share his new home with a cat.
Chief is house trained. He has access to a crate when left alone and is happy to sleep in there but he’s never shut in it. Chief likes to sleep with a human at night, to know they are near. He tends to sleep in his bed at the end of his foster parent’s bed. Chief does create a strong bond with his human, however he is fine when left alone in the house and happily sleeps. Chief is a loving dog who just wants to enjoy the basics in life and cuddles with his owner. He doesn’t really need any training as he has the basics, but as with any dog joining your household, any training undertaken really benefits the bond between him and his new family.
We have no doubt that he will make some lucky family an amazing, fun, family pet. If you can offer this handsome boy his very own forever home and family, please contact us. He has been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Minimum adoption donation of £275 applies. ADOPTIONS SUBJECT TO HOME CHECK. Post adoption support is available from our charity.
