She is a calm dog and she respects all dogs inside home but doesn’t like dominant, confrontational dogs. With people she is very submissive and affectionate from the first moment, she is not scared of anyone. She is very obedient and has a excellent recall when she is off the leash.

On the leash she doesn’t pull in the slightest. She is housetrained and very clean in the house, she can be left alone for periods and she doesn’t cause any mess, she just waits patiently for the people to come back taking a nap. Chiki was rescued when she had just given birth to 6 puppies, they all found homes after a couple of months and she was fostered by her rescuer. It looked like she had been living in the streets for years.

Fosterer’s report: She is very playful, both with people and other dogs. She is very friendly and gentle with children, she really likes them. She lives with cats without a problem, she respects inside home but if she sees a cat outside the house, she’ll chase them. She is used to going by car. Current location is in a foster home in Spain can travel to the UK once she has a home to go to. Vaccinated, wormed, flea treated, Spayed, Microchipped, Pet Passport. FREE 4 weeks Pet Insurance to be activated from the link on our website, Any known health issues NONE KNOWN.

For Dogs coming from Spain: This adoption fee is a contribution towards the costs of rescuing the dog- microchip, passport, vaccines, tests for S European diseases, neutering (if old enough), parasite treatment and transport to the UK. We can not home dogs from Spain to people who work full time or long hours, unless some sort of doggy day care is offered. They need someone at home a lot of the day, they are not used to being alone for long periods. A dog walker for an hour out of the day is not enough. Leaving dogs a long time on their own means they are highly likely to develop separation anxiety which is distressing for them and everyone in their new home.

Adoption Fee : £ 265 – to be paid direct to the Spanish rescue to cover travel costs via UK bank account
