Chunky – 2 year old male Staffordshire Bull Terrier

This gorgeous 2 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier boy arrived with us this week and had been named Chunky somewhere along the line, but he is far from it now.

He is around 2 years old and is a really lovely boy. He is thin at the moment and you can feel and see his ribs and spine. Hopefully he will put some weight on now, but this may not happen until he gets into a proper home due to kennel stress, which is something Staffies suffer from, they just want to be with people.

I spent a good bit of time with him today, just him and I, and he is so affectionate. We had lots of cuddles and my neck was washed over and over again. After a while he was lovely and calm and really started to relax. He seems to be fine with other dogs and could live with children aged 12 plus. He is clean in his kennel and loves his walks. He really just needs a loving family to take care of him and show him what life should be like. Someone somewhere had abandoned poor Chunky and left him to fend for himself, he certainly did not deserve that.

He will be neutered, vaccinated and microchipped before being rehomed. He is at our Centre on the outskirts of King’s Lynn in Norfolk, but he can be rehomed outside of the county, subject to a successful homecheck, as we rehome nationwide.

If you think you can provide Chunky with the life he deserves, good company, a nice walk or two a day, a lovely warm bed and, above all else, lots and lots of love, please get in touch as soon as possible.
