Little black and tan Chusky is an adorable, young Yorkshire Terrier cross lad, looking for a home with another dog for company and confidence. Sweet little thing is just 2 years old and not had a nice life so far. He is fearful with people at first, till he gets used to you as needs time to trust, but this is improving day by day in his foster home. Chusky is calm and good-natured.
Sociable with dogs and older quieter children. He’s a shy but sweet, good-natured and affectionate little dog. He’s sociable with other dogs, but he’s shy and a bit fearful of strangers. He spent most of his life at a pound where dogs have little contact with people, since he was a puppy. In mid August, he was finally taken out and placed at a foster home.
Foster Report: Chusky has made a huge improvement at home. He was wary of us but that lasted less than a week. He’s now house-trained, which didn’t take long. Chusky, or Chuchy as we call him, is losing his fear of people, although he’s still a bit shy and wary, but once he knows and trusts someone, he’s a very affectionate and sweet boy.
He’s calm at home and hasn’t had a problem with other dogs during walks. He doesn’t pull much on the lead. He’s been left alone at home, with the other dogs, not crated, and no mess was found upon our arrival, although he did chew a few things during the first days. He is discovering sofas, beds, naps, treats and cuddles and he’s loving it all.
