Cleo – 1 year old female Mastiff cross Great Dane

Cleo is a giant dog. She is a 1 year old Mastiff cross Great Dane and is stunningly beautiful with very unusual blue merle markings. Cleo is a big soft lump who loves to play, she is gangly, boisterous, takes up a huge amount of space and has an absolutely lovely nature and temperament. Travels well in the car, good with horses, very playful with other dogs, she is just a big, fun girl who needs lots of exercise. Cleo has not had any training so needs someone who is fit, strong, active, with big dog experience who knows how to kindly train young dogs. As she is only a baby she can’t concentrate for long so people assume she isn’t intelligent or assume she is stubborn, she certainly is not either of them. She will need regular short sessions of reward based training to establish basic manners and control.

Cleo has been used to going to the livery yard with the horses and playing in the fields for hours with the terrier and so is used to a lot of space and freedom. We are looking for someone with a big house, garden and car and a lot of time and energy, preferably another big dog for her to play with and someone who can spend a lot of time with her. This dog will cost a lot to feed and insure, so we are looking for a mature, established home with long term financial stability and a forever home. We need people who know what they are doing with dogs, this is not a dog for the first time dog owner.

Please do not apply for this dog if you work long hours and intend to leave the dog without having enough time to give it loads of playtime and attention and three good long walks each day no matter what the weather.

PLEASE ensure your car is big enough to travel the dog in comfort and safety without being squashed in causing it to feel cramped and claustrophobic. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, treated for fleas and worms.
