Cleo is an 11 week old female Jack Russell Terrier. As with any puppy Cleo will need training in all areas. These include house training, lead training and general socialisation. Cleo loves a cuddle and will cry to come on your lap on the sofa. She loves everyone, adults and children. She will not be rehomed with very young children who are likely to stand on her or drop her as she is so small. She does need lots of chew toys to distract her from nipping so this doesn’t become a problem as she gets older. Cleo currently lives with her brother and their favourite game is tug of war. She has met her foster siblings but they are much bigger so need to be supervised to make sure they don’t stand on her. She will share her toys and food with her brother. Cleo hasn’t been tested but she’s young enough to learn.
Cleo has only been left with her litter mate for very short periods. This will gradually need to be increased but as she is a pup she needs someone around for large parts of the day. She is currently crated overnight with her brother and sleeps quietly all night. It’s a large crate which has a bed on one side and a puppy pad the other side which she uses through the night. As a puppy a close eye needs to be kept on her so she doesn’t start chewing the furniture etc. She loves her chew toys. She’s currently on 4 small meals a day which will be reduced to 2 when she gets older. She is not yet fully house trained. Cleo is not yet fully vaccinated and is too young to go out for a walk. She is very small so the garden will have to be secure with no little holes that she can fit through. She travels well in the car in a crate or carrier.
As a young puppy Cleo will need a home where someone is around for most of the day, willing to train and socialise her and get her used to the outside world as she grows. This will be hard work but very rewarding and great fun. She is a darling little girl with lots of love to give to her lucky owners. Cleo is chipped, vaccinated and up to date with her flea and worming treatment. She will be rehomed with a neutering contract and any potential homes should be committed to neutering. Potential adopters will be expected to travel to South Wales.
