Coco – 3 years old female Akita

This is Coco, a gorgeous and sweet 3 year old Akita girl looking for a new home following the death of her owner. A happy girl, Coco greeted our assessor with a big cuddle, and instantly started to sniff out treats! Currently being looked after in kennels, Coco has made a firm impression on all who have met her so far, leading them all to fall head over heels. Impeccable on the lead, Coco seemed excited to be out for a walk and was keen to sniff everything. Gentle with treats, Coco has not displayed any signs of food aggression or possession whilst in kennels. Coco does not appear to have a good knowledge of commands, however she is quite treat motivated and eager to please, which should assist with training in her new home.

Due to the limited background knowledge that we have for Coco, she will not be placed in a family with young children. Coco has not been directly tested with other dogs at present; however she has not shown to have any issues walking past other dogs in kennels.
