Connie (gold) & Murphy (black) are about 6 months old and now looking for new homes. This beautifil pair were abandoned at about 12 weeks old. They are now fit and healthy. They are initially unsure in new situations and will bark when unsure. However once settled are very affectionate and full of fun.
Thought to be Labrador crosses they have grown legs, and ears especially in Connies’ case!. They need a calm and gentle home. Both are bright and eager to please. They are good on and of lead. They mix brilliantly with other dogs, and have met cats. They travel well too. They are good with their house training as long as they are given plenty of opportunities to go outside.
It would be lovely if they could stay together, but we are well aware training two dogs at once is hard work, and they can be a handful, so will happily consider applications for individual homes. If separated they would love a home that already has at least one other resident dog. They will make lovely family dogs, but with older children. We feel the unpredictable behaviour of young children & toddlers would be difficult for them to understand.
Note: It goes without saying that ALL dogs should be supervised around children, and ALL children should be taught how to behave with and around dogs. Tail pulling, poking, sitiing on or climbing on dogs is NEVER acceptable behaviour.
Connie & Murphy are living it up with Fionna & a variety of dogs of all ages & sizes. At the Sanctuary, near Kidwelly, South Wales, whist they wait for their forever home.
We will require you to complete our pre-adoption questionnaire before we can proceed. All applicants will be vetted, & will need to be able to travel to the Sanctuary near Kidwelly, South Wales.
