Cookie – 10 year old male Golden Retriever Cross

Cookie is a 10 year old male Golden Retriever Cross. Golden boy Cookie is looking for a new home following a relationship break down, he is currently being cared for by a friend who is not in a position to keep him permanently. Cookie is a beautiful, affectionate boy who would suit a calm quiet home without any visiting children. He is sensitive to certain areas being touched such as his paws and back end, so he will benefit from an understanding owner who will not push these boundaries. Care will also need to be taken when he sees the vet as he can become upset.

Cookie is good with small dogs and female dogs but does not like entire (un-neutered) males of his own size so his new owner must bare this in mind and be sensible on walks. We can discuss this more should you enquire about adopting him. He currently lives with a female dog and his owner feels he could happily live alongside another female in his new home. He does not like cats.

Cookie is happy to be left for a few hours, he is clean, quiet and non destructive in the home. He is an older gentleman, but one who is still very active and enjoys his walks, he also travels well in the car. This sweet boy will make a fantastic friend.
