Meet the lovely Cooper! Cooper is only 6 months old and came into our centre after his owner could no longer take care of him. Despite only being young, Cooper is already a big boy and we feel he is going to grow into a big dog which is something new adopters need to be prepared for. Cooper is lovely, he is very friendly and affectionate and just loves being with people, he especially loves playing with his favourite ball which he has almost learnt to leave on command! He knows his very basic commands but would benefit from learning more, he is pretty smart though and will pick things up quickly given the chance.
Cooper needs an experienced owner to help further his training, ideally they will also have experience with big dogs. He is a friendly dog so could live with children who were used to large bouncy breeds and could potentially go to a home with another dog dependent on a successful introduction, but no cats please. As Cooper is so young, he also couldn’t be left alone for more than a couple of hours at a time as he finds it quite stressful.
If you feel that you can offer Cooper a loving new home, please contact the centre for more information regarding adopting him as he certainly will be a very loving and rewarding member of the family.
