My name is Cooper and I’m quite a big lad. I’m approximately 1.5 years old. I’m a cross between a Labrador and a Podenco. I’m like a taller lither Labrador. I haven’t had the best starts in life as I came from Benidorm Shelter in Spain and have been in foster care in Leeds. I have a rescue group that supported me out of the shelter and continue to offer back up support. I’m looking for a home where I can be the only dog and children can be over 12. Iv had some challenges as Iv been going through my adolescence whilst not being fully settled but my foster Dad has been helping me work through these with the support of a great trainer. My rescue supports this process and will continue to support my progress.
I’m a very loving and loyal dog once I know who my people are. I love nothing more than a good ear rub. I love to play in the safety of my own garden so a secure space is essential. I can be a bit scared outside but I’m getting used to my new world. I’m starting to walk well on my lead and my foster Dad has started letting me sleep outside my crate so I’m coming along. I need a family with time and patience to help me become the best dog I can be and in return you will be showered with love , loyalty and affection.
My rescue needs to do a Homecheck and ask for a donation to rescue to keep me safe and costs covered. I am neutered, vaccinated, chipped, have my passport and all records are up to date – stamped in back of my passport.
Please help me to move on and be the best boy I can be.
