Cora – 2 year old female Border Terrier Cross

Cora is a 2 year old female Border Terrier Cross. Cora has come to us as she was no longer required for breeding. She is a small girl at about 7kg who should be between 8-9 kg when she has gained her right weight. She is a Border Terrier Cross it is not possible to say what she is crossed with. Cora is a young dog and whilst she is quite nervous and fearful of people at present, will settle well to form a lively, energetic and fun loving companion. She has had a poor start in life but is extremely intelligent and is learning fast that life and routine in a home environment are things she responds to very well indeed. Whilst not yet fully housetrained, this will not be a problem for an experienced owner to complete.

In this particular case, Cora absolutely must go to a home with another or preferably other dogs. She watches attentively everything her foster pack does and takes all her cues from them. This is how she learns and she learns very quickly. Whilst she arrived in a poor physical condition, she has bounced back well and is a hardy healthy little dog now. She eats well and without aggression and is making good progress with human interaction. She is young and smart enough to make a full recovery from her former life, is very gentle and is enjoying giddy play in her foster home. She sleeps well and is dry overnight.

Cora will need new owners who are experienced with Terriers, will offer her plenty of exercise, have another/other dogs, have a fairly calm household and can offer her stimulation. She is still very puppy like in her behavior and will need things to chew. Cora is micro chipped, neutered, vaccinated, wormed and flea treated. Her teeth are in good condition. She is in foster in London SE12.
