Costo is a 11 month old male Cross-Breed. Costo is a very nice looking hound boy with a white and red fleck coat. He is a medium to large boy standing at 56 cm (22 inches) and he weighs 20 kg (44 lbs). Costo is a young boy and has a lot of energy in the run where he is kennelled. He will need a family who enjoy walking as he loves to go out often and ideally they would have a house with a large garden too. Costo loves to play and is sociable with all kind of animals and very affectionate with people. This means he can live with other dogs and cats.
This poor young boy has been at the Spanish pound for almost a year. He was very skinny and deteriorated when he was first brought in, but now he’s healthy. He was fostered for a while but he had to be taken back to the pound for personal reasons not related at all to him. He’s a favourite among volunteers for many reasons: he loves playing and being outdoors but also knows how to relax at home. He has a great character. He’s young and strong and hasn’t been properly trained on the lead so obviously he can pull when walking on a lead so he would need to learn some discipline, but he is a fast learner and very bright! He’s just a great boy waiting to find a family to love.
Fosterer’s report: He’s now living at the pound but he was fostered for a while and this is what they said: Costo is very affectionate and sociable with people, dogs, cats and even with rabbits. He is clean, he has learned to pee and poop outside very fast. He doesn’t bark at all. He doesn’t cry when he is alone and he’s never destroyed anything.
