Curtis – 10 year old male Labrador

Curtis is a 10 year old male Labrador. He would like an adult only home due to the story behind him coming into rescue. Not in close proximately, he likes his own space. So would like to be the only special one in your home. Not yet tested with cats. Curtis is a handsome black Labrador. He loves to go for a walk and explore the environment and a pleasure, he is happy to just sit down and relax with. He is toy and food motivated but also happy to sit down and cuddle up and let time pass. He does have previous bite history during an unconfirmed incident so even with his sweet and affectionate nature we ask for a house with no children. He has never shown any variations of aggression to any of his human friends at Glendee.

Curtis is a very sweet and loving boy. He would suit a relaxed household that can provide a lot of love and affection as well as take him on a nice long walk. His ideal home would be one with no children or pets. He likes lots of food but we feed him a raw Diet, Barking Heads or Natures Diet at Glendee. He is still a little bit over weight but is otherwise healthy, he has the softes most luxurious coat.

He is currently doing basic training with us. This includes walking on a lead nicely and getting him used to a home environment. Other than that he has no seen behavioural issues to overcome that have shown up during his stay with us other than working on him be more comfortable with approaching dogs.

This is our current assessment, the assessments are on-going as always, and although we temperament test our dogs in many situations, we can not know how they be when they arrive in your home, support is given as always be given by the trainer you are matched to.
