Dainty – 5 year old female Cross-Breed

Dainty is a small Crossbreed of maybe five years old. Its hard to detect what breed she is. She looks like a little dingo but may possibly have a bit of terrier or whippet in there somewhere. It is blatantly obvious that Dainty hasn’t had a great life so far. She is an adorable, affectionate little dog but is undeniably submissive and will cower and flinch regularly, in a way that only an abused dog knows. She also has an old injury to her shoulder that has healed wonky and as such she really needs her exercise limited.

Dainty is the funniest little character and just by watching the videos will you see what I mean. She greets you when you get home like you are a God that she hasn’t seen for a month. She squirms and grins and gets so excited she will pee a little. The grinning is the most charming trait of her wonderful character. You only have to look at her or say her name and she will wiggle her whole body and grin.

Due to her nerves caused by her past abuse we are looking for a quiet home for Dainty with no young children. Her confidence will, of course, grow over the coming months as she learns that abuse and fear is not part of her daily routine now. She can hold her own with other dogs and in fact, there is no dog here that will approach her food bowl whilst she is eating lol. She might be small but shes had to survive amongst much bigger dogs in the past and she certainly knows how!

Dainty wouldn’t walk on a lead at first but has now mastered the art and loves it. She’s still very tense when you pick her up and will again pee a little in fear. Dainty’s had it tough, now is her time to shine and she is already starting to. The girl with a smile that lights up a room. Could you offer her a forever home?
