Daisy – 1 year old female Akita

This beautiful lady is Daisy, a 1 year old female Akita. She was sadly abandoned and found by an RSPCA Inspector tied to a tree, so she has come to the centre to find a new home where she can get the love she deserves. Daisy is absolutely full of energy and loves to play, so she would make a great pet for an active home. Since she has been here, we have been working on her commands and she is coming on in leaps and bounds every day. Daisy is very intelligent, but due to her young age she can be easily distracted. Despite this, she has already picked up sit, paw and down.

Daisy gets on with other dogs and could possibly live with a friend, provided they had a similar personality and energy level, as an older or calmer dog could become overwhelmed by her larger-than-life personality! Due to her high energy levels, Daisy would be best suited to a home with adults only, or teenage children as she can get very excited and bouncy. She is also looking for a home with adopters who have plenty of time to spend with her to continue training, as she doesn’t like being left alone.
