Daisy is a gorgeous 6 year old miniature Shih Tzu, she came into rescue when her previous owners felt she wasn’t suitable to be living with small children! Daisy was initially very scared and displayed fear aggression, now she knows us she couldn’t be more different, but she will need a home that allows her time and space to come to you – it took her all of a day to feel comfortable with us! Daisy is a typical little lap dog, she loves nothing more than cuddles, And she will quite literally spend her entire day snuggled with you!
Daisy enjoys a walk, although she doesn’t seem to want to go too far. She is house trained, and mixes fine with other dogs, she is in foster with 12 others of all different sizes but I think she would be best living with a dog her size or smaller. Equally she could be the only dog quite happily! She is fine to be left for short periods on her own and is not destructive.
Daisy is very scared of being bathed and clipped, particularly her feet and face. She will need an owner with alot of patience that is happy to groom her little and often until she is comfortable with it, She has clearly had a terrible experience in the past while being groomed and is very worried.
Daisy loves to snuggle on the bed with you at night, and would make an ideal companion for an older person that just wants company and something to love. Daisy is not confident around young children and will need an adult only home.
Daisy is a very sweet little dog, that is very low maintenance, that desperately wants a lap of her own to snuggle up on, can you offer her this?
