Hi there, my name is Daisy and I’m lodging here in little old England with my BFF Lucy. We were found as strays in the USA and Lucy has looked after me ever since we were rescued. (She still washes my face and cleans my ears like my Mom did.) I know we are more mature ladies but we don’t intend to grow old gracefully like you do over here. We know that really we are puppies in an older body and enjoy trotting along on a walk and chasing balls like the young ‘uns. Our philosophy is more The Golden Girls than Countdown.
We walk well together on static leads, a good two to three miles in the morning and a mile in the evening. I enjoy the attention that a Tibetan terrier attracts but my BFF Lucy prefers to get to know folks first. On a sunny day we both like to lounge around the garden, seeing off the pigeons, chilling and wondering when the Long Island Tea will be served.
We only bark if you need to know that someone is at the door or a fox is in the garden and we never have any little accidents in the house. Our hosts tell us that we are some of the easiest dogs they have ever entertained and have been showing us the sights on buses and trains.
We would like to be the only dogs in our next home and, although we like kids, no small ones please. We don’t mind being left to our own devices for a few hours, we aren’t destructive, and will always give you a big welcome when you come home.
