Dakota is a stunning approximately 18 month old, female Cross-Breed (possibly Malinois mix). She traveled to us from Bosnia on the 3rd November. Dakota was rescued from a high kill shelter. Despite this she is a very friendly and outgoing girl. Dakota is a lovely girl, she loves people and is good with children too. Although we would recommended a home where any children are 5+ years as she can be very bouncy at times.
Dakota is also good with other dogs and hasn’t shown any reaction to any dogs when out walking and in the house (she is currently living in a mixed pack and there havent been any issues), Although Dakota hasn’t been properly cat tested. We would recommened a home Where there are no cats or small furries. She can get quite fixated on birds sometimes but when told to leave she will.
Dakota is currently getting used to living in a house. She is house trained and has picked up the basics such as sit, paw, down, stay, heel very quickly. She is also fine to be crated. However, it is very clear that she hasn’t lived in a house before so she does require ongoing training to learn boundaries etc. She is both food and toy orientated which makes it very easy to get her attention. She does have good recall, but this has only been tested on a long line.
Dakota needs a very experienced owner, she is a very ”busy” dog and needs lots of physical and mental stimulation – if she does not get this she will chew! She would do well at agility, flyball, Cani cross or similar. Dakota is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, flee’d and wormed up to date and has her pet passport,
Please contact us if you think you could offer this gorgeous girl her forever home.
