Daniela – 2-3 year old female Cross-Breed

This lovely girl, Daniela, is a medium size crossbreed who is now approx. 2 or 3 years old. She was found as a stray on the streets in Spain in 2011 with her twin sister Palmira as a puppy and has since then spent the rest of her life in kennels. Daniela is 17kg and 45cm high. Daniela is a real sweetheart she is very friendly with people and with other dogs. She has been sharing a pen with around 12 other dogs in a council kennel in Spain that houses over 200 dogs in cramped and basic conditions. Sadly Daniela has lost her tail and has a small stump.

Daniela has not had any training and the few times she has been out on the lead with volunteers at the kennels she has pulled and jumped about very excitedly. She is a very intelligent dog and very anxious to please people and we feel with some basic training she will be the perfect addition to a family.

Daniela loves children and loves to jump up and lick people. Daniela has not yet been tested with cats. The adoption fee for Daniela is £150 this includes the spay, microchip, all vaccinations, blood test for diseases, passport, deworm and de flea treatment. Daniela arrives to London on the 1st May from Spain and she will be fostered until a forever home is found for her. If you would like to adopt Daniela please email amee@spanishstraydogs.org.uk

Spanish Stray Dogs UK is a UK registered charity set up in 2012. Our SCIO charity number is SC043486 and we are regulated by the OSCR. We search for kind, caring, patient forever families in the UK to adopt Spanish Stray dogs that have been rescued from the streets of Spain. Our dogs have mostly known sadness, cruelty and have only known a life of neglect and abuse. If you would like to offer one of our dogs a home please contact us. As well as searching for forever families to adopt our dogs, we also fund-raise for money that can help pay transport costs and cover things like vet bills for our dogs. We also constantly collect donations of flea and tick products, treats, toys, and light weight blankets to send to the dogs in Spain.
