Daz – 6 year old male English Cocker Spaniel

This is Daz and he is a 6 year old male Cocker Spaniel. He really is a dear soul, very friendly and eager to please. He has been very well fed so is somewhat over-weight at the moment. He seemed to be missing someone, seemed sad and watched arriving cars hopefully, but despite that he was very friendly and appreciative. He seems a sedate, middle-aged gentleman who would quite like gentle dogs but would not want boisterous ones around him, and who would love human company.

He pulls strongly on the lead when he wants to get somewhere! He takes treats gently. He was fine with a short period of grooming. Apparently he did not like being picked up when the vet examined him. He did not mind his long ears being handled when the lead was put on him. He showed nothing but friendliness and tolerance today. He is a lovely dog.
