Deano – 1 year old male Collie cross Greyhound

Deano is a 1 year old black Lurcher, most likely a Collie cross Greyhound. The lovely Deano was picked up as a stray at 4 months old, and has been looking for a home ever since! He is a friendly, energetic boy who loves going for walks and meeting both people and other dogs.

Deano has been in a foster home for the last few months, and is now well used to a home environment. He sleeps through the night, is very settled, and has an excellent appetite. He also copes well with being left on his own, and is always pleased to see you when you get back.

Deano can growl on occasion if he is put under stress. Because of this, we feel a home with an experienced dog owner and without young children would be best for him. We will discuss this with prospective adopters. He would also get on better either as an only dog, or with a strong-minded female for company as he can become assertive with other male dogs.

Deano is finally moving out of kennels and into a foster home. Now he can get used to living in a home environment again and the ‘growly’ issues previously mentioned can be properly worked on.

Deano is not a shy dog, is very playful, and has lots of love to give to the right owner. He is currently in kennels in Norfolk.
