Dexter – 7 year old male Cross-Breed

Dexter is a 7 year old male Cross-breed who has come from a home with two adults and three children. Dexter is good with other dogs both on and off the lead. He will bark at cats.

Dexter is a nervous dog who is very wary of new people, especially men. Because of Dexter’s nervous nature it would be best if he went to a quiet home with children over the age of thirteen and to someone who doesn’t receive many visitors. Dexter will need an owner who would be willing to give him gentle socialisation and help him overcome his initial nervousness.

Once Dexter gets to know you he is an affectionate dog who enjoys playing and receiving attention and would make a rewarding pet for someone who can spend time gently socialising him and bringing him out of himself. He is not yet neutered.
