Dill (Dilys) – 1-2 year old female Lurcher

Dill (Dilys) is a 1-2 year old female Lurcher. She was saved from a council pound so we do not have any history on her but she is a very friendly girl, we will continue with assessments but our current guideline is for children over 8, we may consider younger children as we get to know her more. She gets on with other dogs and could live with other dogs. She was fearful of cats on her assessment so could POTENTIALLY live with a cat if the setup and management was considered.

She was picked up as a stray and served 7 days in a council pound, so we do not have any more information on her. She would suit many homes. But she would like a home where she is not left for more than 2 hours in the beginning this could be extended in time. She likes lots of food but we feed her a raw Diet, Barking Heads or Natures Diet at Glendee. She arrived very underweight and a few skin sores, these were treated by a vet and have now begun to heal. At Glendee Rescue,Hertfordshire. Currently we are walking on her lead walking skills and she is doing really well.

This is our current assessment, the assessments are on-going as always, and although we temperament test our dogs in many situations, we can not know how they be when they arrive in your home, support is given as always be given by the trainer you are matched to.
