Dilly is almost 2 years old. We don’t know what breed she is, but she looks a bit like a Sheepdog and Saluki mix, she has such a fine noble head, and a beautiful silky, flowing coat. She is absolutely delightful. She clearly has been loved, but has had little training. She is however very eager to learn and enjoys her training, her main aim is to please.
Dilly loves people of all ages, she loves children, but can be very excitable and is then inclined to jump up, so babies, toddlers or young children. Dilly is energetic, friendly affectionate, has been clean, and has not been destructive. She enjoys a fuss & can be quite a calm, patient girl, though like most youngsters has boundless energy, and will need plenty of exercise. She travels very well. She is not bad on a lead, and has a good recall off lead. She loved a recent play on an agility course, and couldn’t stop wagging her tail.
Dilly mixes well with dogs of all sizes, and would be ideal in a multi dog home. She does like company, so would hate to be home alone all day. She has met cats and not shown a lot of interest, but would chase a running cat. She does need good secure home and 6′ fencing, after all we don’t know how she came to be straying, maybe she escaped? She bonds very quickly with her people and will make someone a stunning and loyal companion. Dilly is at the Sanctuary near Kidwelly.
Potential adopters will need to be able to travel to the Sanctuary to meet / collect her, once they have completed the questionnaire, and a home check had been completed
