Dior – 7 year old female Cavalier King Charles Spaniel

Dior is a 7 year old female Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. This girl is an ex-breeder. She has not been used to living in a home so will need help with confidence building, house training, and learning how to be a pet. Many ex breeders cannot even walk on a lead. She will need a calm home with no children less than teen age. As she has always lived with other dogs she would need to be homed where there was another dog to help her. UPDATE: I am convinced that Dior is very closely related to a previous Cavalier King Charles Spaniel we had called Frazzle. She is so like her when she first arrived. When she thinks no one is looking Dior is quite jolly and interactive with her little kennel mates.

But when you go into the kennel to purposefully see Dior she gives the ‘woe is me’ eyes and pretends to not be interested. I’m sure, that like Frazzle, she will learn to like us over time. Currently she is still ignoring us. She does not run away, she doesn’t react negatively, she just looks away politely which tells us she’s not wanting interaction just yet. I’m sure she’ll soon come around, just like Frazzle did. She is vaccinated, wormed, micro chipped and vet checked.
