Disco – 2 year old male Greyhound

Disco is a 2 year old Greyhound lad. He is a big, pretty boy with a lovely black and white coat. Disco is a lively, playful boy who greatly enjoys being out and about, seeing the world. He loves his cuddles and always has a big waggy tail for you. He gets very excited for his walks and does pull on the lead initially. However after a short while he calms down and we feel that once he is settled in a home environment with regular walks, he will settle down considerably and become your typical greyhound.

Lovely Disco gets on great with the other greyhounds in our kennels and with a bit of work he should be good to live with small dogs or cats as he has never raced. He will be tested with cats shortly and we will update with more info.

*Update*

One of our volunteers has found out that Disco absolutely ADORES children! He just wants to kiss them to death but is so gentle while doing it. As he is a big boy and still a bit of a puppy, we wouldnt like to home him with tiny toddlers as he may knock them over in a moment of madness, but Disco would definitely make a fantastic family dog and would relish sharing his home with some kiddies who could teach him the joys of a squeaky ball.

Disco has been tested with cats and has proven to be fine with dog savvy cats. He is currently in a foster home with cats, children and other dogs and is getting on fabulously with everyone.

Big boy Disco is currently in Norfolk, UK where he will very soon be placed in a foster home with a cat to see how he gets on with felines. This will also be his first time in a home environment and we’re sure he will quickly learn to relish the home comforts! He is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped and a homecheck will be required as part of the adoption procedure.
