Dixie – 3 year old female German Shepherd

Dixie is a long haired small female German Shepherd around 3 years old.  This girl arrived whilst I was photographing the other dogs.  She came off the van quite scared and bewildered looking for someone familiar or somewhere to hide.  She had been taken in as a stray to the council pound and nobody has claimed her therefore she has come to us and been Christened Dixie.

Dixie can sit and stay on command very well despite being scared and timid you could already see that this was a fantastic dog and wondered how a girl like this has ended up being an unwanted stray.  She’s quite small for a German Shepherd Dog but had a very gentle, sweet and calm nature as she was desperately looking to please.  We hope this girl finds a home soon so she doesn’t sit in kennels feeling frightened and confused for any longer than she needs to.  Please give Dixie the family, security and care she is looking for. This little girl has haunted me since I left the kennel.

Currently kennelled at Treswell
