Dodge - 2 year old male American Bulldog

Dodge (ref 9d) is a 2 year old brindle and white male non-pedigree American Bulldog. He is an extremely sweet-natured, playful and chummy character who arrived at Derby RSPCA Centre after his owners decided they no longer wanted a dog and jettisoned him.

He is a very friendly boy who loves being stroked, adores playing with toys, enjoys being groomed and thrives on being with friendly people. Most of all, he likes to be loved and to show you how much he loves you in return. American Bulldogs are full of love, gentleness and good humour - and Dodge is a perfect example of that sweet and loving personality.

Dodge would be perfect for an active household with experience of dogs, where he could be provided with all the play and exercise he needs. He is a very jolly dog who loves to romp around, muck about and let off steam. He would be best suited for a home where any children were aged over 10 years.

He seems to be friendly towards female dogs and might possibly be able to get along with a male dog (depending on the other dog’s personality, obviously). Like most dogs, however, he would be inclined to chase after cats and rabbits etc. He knows at least two commands and should easily be able to learn more.

Dodge is a sweet, friendly, cheerful, enthusiastic dog who just needs someone to love him, play with him, take him for walks and make him feel wanted once again. He has a big heart full of love for everyone and he will make an unsinkably jolly and loving new family member and friend.
