Donny is a beautiful Catalan mix herding puppy, medium to large in height, as he stands at 60cms and his length is 70Cms. Donny has a soft fluffy black coat and four white paws and some small patches of white on his chest and nose. Donny loves to run free and chase balls and do what all young dogs do.
He will need someone who can teach him new commands and will need to be house-trained. He is intelligent and willing to learn so we don’t see that as a issue. Young Donny was one of a litter of 9 puppies and he and his brother Andy, are the only ones left still looking for homes! The pups are all playful, loving and placid.
Donny is quite timid and would benefit from being with an already established dog in the home as he needs a lot of love and encouragement and although he gets on well with other dogs he tends to hang back. He is okay on a lead but again because he lacks confidence this would have to be worked on. He gets on okay with children as the foster home has a 4 year old grandson and he is fine, but because he is quite big and can be quite boisterous when playing it would be better for him not to be in a home with very small children. Although he doesn’t live with any cats, we can cat test.
Donny has a curly coat and a short stumpy tail but he is a very handsome boy and we hope it won’t be long before we can find him a forever home.
Fosterer’s report: His little family play very well if a touch exuberantly but they love interacting with other dogs and have great personalities.
