Dream – 1 year old female Shar-Pei

Dream is one of our ‘Twelve dogs of christmas’ which are 12 dogs within our sanctuary whom we feel are a priority in terms of finding them new homes…either because they are older, nervous or struggling in kennels, or simply that they have been waiting too long. Dream really is a dream! She adores people and mixes well with other dogs. She came to us completely emaciated and had clearly been abused at the hands of her previous owners. Despite this she continues to greet everyone she meets as an old friend, and will roll over for belly rubs and cover you with kisses.

Dream is an approximately year old Sharpei cross. She has been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.

Hey there, I’m Dream and my one wish was a home for Christmas. Sadly this didn’t happen and I’m still here at the kennels…wishing and hoping that my new family is just around the corner.

My last owners were very cruel to me but I loved them anyway, and it hasn’t put me off humans at all. I still greet everyone as though they are a long lost friend and love to be fussed and cuddles. I have many other doggy friends here, some that I kennel share with, and I haven’t met a dog here yet that I don’t like.

I’m clean in my kennel and i haven’t destroyed my bed or my toys…. I just hope that someone, somewhere will be willing to take a chance on me, a chance to let me prove that dogs in rescue aren’t ‘bad’ but that sometimes we are let down by those who should be protecting us and find ourselves homeless and without love.

If you can offer Dream, or any of our dogs, a place in your heart and your home, please call Kymm on 07886 620009 or email jodiesedr@hotmail.com Dream could live with another dog. She can be cat tested if needed and can live with children aged ten plus.

We can’t think of a better start to the year than for Dream to find the forever home she has been patiently waiting for. Please make 2012 the year that Dreams future changes for the better…..
