Duke – 3 year old male Lurcher

feature photo

This is Duke, a 3 year old Lurcher boy who came in with his litter brother Jet (also featured on DogsBlog.com). We are really hoping someone will give these young chaps a chance but we know there chances are slim as they black big dogs and they do not home well at all. These dogs have been kept outside all their young lives have not been really loved as they should have been.

Duke is the larger one of the two, he is bolder and more outgoing, at this moment in time we have been unable to let him off the lead as they just want to go off hunting so this again is not going to help there rehoming, their house training is coming on well again this need work but they are crate trained to be clean now. I am so hoping someone will give these lovely chaps a chance but we do realise they could end up months in kennels.

So please please when you are thinking about rescuing a dog think of these two they do not need to go together and they would so love to curl up in front a fire with a cup of tea. I might also add they are both so gentle taking food very sweet.

Thinking about adopting a dog?- How about if we gave you some free dog food to make life easier?

Highly recommended if you’re thinking of adopting a dog:- Compare dog insurance policies and make sure your idea of the cheapest dog insurance isn’t mistaken for the best dog insurance!
