Dulcie is a 2 year old female English Cocker Spaniel. Lovely Dulcie, a dear sweet little girl who is making excellent progress since coming into foster care a couple of weeks ago. She is a shy girl who is learning to love life and is very responsive to people, especially men. She can be nervous in new situations but is friendly and at ease with other dogs. Dulcie could go to a home with older children but certainly needs owners who are around most of the time. She does suffer with separation anxiety, which is very much eased by the presence of other dogs and so therefore the preference would be to place her in a family with another dog or dogs.
Dulcie is house trained and non destructive although is having a bit of a puppy play phase at the moment so can be opportunistic when it comes to socks, shoes and sunglasses! Dulcie is not confident on walks but is learning the ropes and with further training, input and regular exercise, this will not be a problem.
Dulcie has been neutered, first part vaccinated, wormed and flea treated as well as being micro chipped. She has a truly delightful nature and needs a bit of input from a loving owner. She sleeps well at night, is not a barker (although can bark!) and has no known health issues. She eats and plays well. She is currently on foster near Hastings East Sussex.
