Edith – 9 year old female Staffordshire Bull Terrier

Edith is a very pretty 9 year old Staffordshire Bullterrier lady who sadly found herself abandoned and alone. She is currently in kennels, where she is well behaved and seems to get along with the other dogs there. She enjoys her walks and is very easy to walk on a harness. She was well behaved at the vets, happy to hop into a dog crate and travelled well after some initial excitement.

Edith is a lovely girl who deserves a comfortable home. She would ideally like a quieter home where any children are 12 years plus, she may be able to live with a male dog depending on how introductions went. A cat free home would be best.

Could you offer Edith a home?

Edith is microchipped ,vaccinated and neutered. She can be rehomed anywhere pending a successful home visit but any prospective adopter must be prepared to visit her at least twice – once to say hello and then having had time to consider carefully whether to offer Edith a home to collect her. Edith is currently in the Worcester area. We do ask for a £90 adoption donation to allow us to continue our work with other Senior Staffies in need.

For further details regarding adopting a dog from the care of Senior Staffy Club, please email seniorstaffyclub@hotmail.co.uk or telephone 07941 653924 / 07513 591784. Please note, an adoption fee of around £80-150 applies, but it depends on the dog itself. The aims of Senior Staffy Club are: - to help promote Senior Staffies already in rescue who are looking for a new home. - to encourage rescues to offer Senior Staffies rescue spaces by offering financial assistance with kennel fees and or vet bills. - to recruit foster carers that have been homechecked by us and who can then be used by any rescue that needs a comfy space for a Senior Staffy. - to pay Emergency Boarding fees for Senior Staffies at serious risk of being put to sleep until a rescue space can be found. - in some circumstances to offer rescue back up ourselves to those Senior Staffies most need and with no where to go.
