Eliza – 3 year old female Border Collie Cross

Eliza is a 3 year old female Border Collie Cross. Eliza is a very shy girl, she was found in a state of terror in a public shelter in Romania and we were asked if we would take her if rescuers could get her out. Eliza is fostered in Great Yarmouth. (FR001). She’s been in our care for a few months now and she’s a lovely character. She is still incredibly shy with strangers and avoids being fussed but she has a cheeky character and loves to follow her foster mum around..always curious as to what’s going on.

Eliza is a beautiful looking dog and she’s come a long way from the terrified dog that hid in a corner trembling when she arrived. She needs a special adopter who can see past her fears and help her become a more confident dog. Eliza will need at least one other dog in her new home to show her the ways of domestic life. She currently lives with cats. We know when we do write ups for these kind of dogs that not everybody is up to the challenge of a dog that doesn’t currently like to be touched yet time and again the calls come in from people with such big hearts that they do not dwell on what they will not get back from the dog but only want to make life better for a scared dog that’s had a horrible time.

We hope again for another of those calls for Eliza. You can see from her pictures that she’s enjoyed her time in her foster home but it is time now for her to move on. If you are interested please call or message us.
