Ella is an 11 month old female German Short-Haired Pointer Cross. Beautiful dark tan dappled medium size German Pointer puppy girl with a fantastic character. She is extremely playful, confident, friendly and quick to learn Ella walks well on lead and halti and can pull when she first starts her walk. Here she is all ready and eager for her evening walk. She has got used to her comforts very quickly and loves a cuddle. She is energetic and so enthusiastic, she loves to sniff everything. Ella is such a little sweetie, she will make a great addition to any household.
Foster Report: A lot of good points for Ella: Ella is very clean and goes to toilet outside, she loves to play with toys which have to be tough ones! She is very much a puppy and needs play/stimulation and naps throughout the day. She is playing with my teenage son and enjoys spending time with humans, she welcomes us with a very waggy tail.
Ella travels by car well and loves looking out of the window to see the view. She loves her food and treats, which she takes gently. Ella loves being stroked and wants to get up on the sofa! She is learning fast. She lives with my other dogs but she prefers to be on her own and I think at times is jealous of the fuss the others get so I would say she needs to be an only dog, she will be happy with that. I think children of over 10 would be better for her as she certainly likes to pick up toys and she runs off with them! I think she would be better off without cats in the house. Much better on lead now. She also has a touch of lead anxiety so she would benefit from being held on a short lead or halti harness to continue her training.

For Dogs coming from Spain: This adoption fee is a contribution towards the costs of rescuing the dog- microchip, passport, vaccines, tests for S European diseases, neutering (if old enough), parasite treatment and transport to the UK.
We can not home dogs from Spain or Portugal to people who work full time or long hours, unless some sort of doggy day care is offered. They need someone at home a lot of the day, they are not used to being alone for long periods. A dog walker for an hour out of the day is not enough.
Leaving dogs a long time on their own means they are highly likely to develop separation anxiety which is distressing for them and everyone in their new home.
Adoption Fee : £245 – to be paid direct to the Spanish rescue to cover travel costs via UK bank account.
