Elle – 5 month old female Saluki Cross

Elle is a very beautiful 5 month old Saluki Cross puppy. She was born rather unexpectedly (along with her 7 brothers and sisters!) to her beautiful mum shortly after she arrived as a stray in rescue in Ireland. All 10 puppies, plus Mum and (suspected) Dad came to Lizzies Barn when the pups were 10 weeks old. So, by then, they had been very well socialised with people and handled frequently.

Thanks to being raised at our sanctuary since 10 weeks, Elle is very used to being around many dogs of all different breeds, sizes and ages and has become a very confident, yet gentle lady. Elle is good with cats and is a great traveller. Her housetraining is almost completely sorted and she is dry overnight.

Just like every other hound, Elle is not a big fan of rain and she is reluctant to leave the warmth of the Barn if it’s cold and wet outside, so walking on a lead hasn’t happened as much as we’d have liked and she will need a little more training in this area.

For further details regarding available dogs from Lizzies Barn, Kidwelly, Carmarthenshire, please contact Fionna at rehoming.lizziesbarn@googlemail.com. All potential homes will be vetted and a set donation is payable upon adoption. All dogs will have been assessed and vet checked and, unless advised otherwise, will have been neutered, vaccinated, micro-chipped etc prior to adoption. Potential adopters are expected to travel to Lizzies Barn to meet/collect their chosen dog.
