Elmo – 1 year old male Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross

This handsome chap is Elmo, he is a 1 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross that came to us as a stray. He is looking for an experienced home, people with Staffordshire Bull Terrier knowledge is a bonus. He is a sweet boy that loves his toys and he must be allowed to have them, he can get a little eager to have them so new owners must be able to calm him down if needed!

He is a quiet chap that is slowly coming out of himself and will need quiet confident owners that will allow him to settle in at his pace. Elmo is a very intelligent boy and has huge capacity to learn more – he knows sit and paw but shows willingness to learn and please. Elmo can get slightly over whelmed by too many people so he is looking for a family with no more than 3 people, so that he will bond to them. Elmo has improved a lot with other dogs as the kennel environment made him a little grumpy with them at first, but he now gets on well with them and will even have the odd play when he feels like it! However he is looking for a home where there is no other dog so he can settle in and bond with the people first, there shouldn’t be a reason why another dog could be added to the home after Elmo has settled in as long as he has been kept socialised as he enjoys their company, and will even share their bed!

Elmo can live with older children 14 and upwards, that will take part in his training. He is fully vaccinated, micro chipped and neutered.

Please ask about Elmo today, he is a lovely affectionate lad that deserves a loving home.
