Emma – 6 year old female Greyhound
Hello, my name is Emma and I am a 6 year old female Greyhound. I was bred for racing and have always lived in kennels but I couldn’t run fast enough to ever race. When I came into rescue I was in very bad condition, I was underweight, had lots of scars and my teeth were awful, eating was really painful. I have since had a dental which resulted in 16 teeth being removed. Although it still feels a bit odd, it doesn’t cause me any problems and means that I can start enjoying my food again! I haven’t had much affection in my life and am very scared of new people. I would love a home which will be patient with me and will understand that it will take time for me to settle and adjust. I could live with another dog but probably not cats.
